Need help installing wireless

O.P. Need help installing wireless
i need help because i have pipex broadband donwstairs and i want it to go wireless upstairs. I've bought the wireless box, but when i followed the instructions EXACTLY RIGHT(even got me dad to help lol:p) its still not working.
btw, im using a d-link ADSL2+ wireless router.

are you sure the signal is strong enough? signal horizontal no problems but vertical i heard there could be problems. that what my ISP told me.

define not working...
no asdl led on the wireless router although it is properly connected
