I have just updated to the latest messenger+ and now I cant see what im typing in the lower box. when i send it, it appears in the top box as normal in the colour i have selected. It really is frustrating and it makes me look like i cant spell.
I have looked through the options for anything obvious but to no avail.
Any help will be gratefully recieved.

Do you have Kiwee installed?

This problem has been reported (and i think solved) before and I think it was Kiwee that was the cause of it.

No kiwee is not installed, what is that anyway?

It's an add-on for yahoo messenger, I believe

How about SweetIM, Smiley Central or GDI++?

These are all known to conflict with Messenger Plus Live.

Check your Add/Remove Programs (Programs & Features on vista) even if you don't think they are installed as sometimes things can become installed without your knowledge
