guys, i was kinda googling but cant find a way to get Messenger Plus to work


thins is i want to keep using msn 8.5 beta, msn beta still works but Messenger Plus not it doesnt start with msn im running windows 7 ult 64bit, i wish i never formatted

is there a way to slove this ? i tried Messenger Plus 4.80 and 4.90 but both dont start up with msn 8.5 beta

8.5 is very, very old. We cannot support that here, at least until you give us more details.

what kind of dettails ?
what i do is

1. instal messenger 8.5 beta
2. install messenger plus 4.80
3. start up messenger

all i see is that messenger work but no plus
when i try installing scripts it says " messenger plus isnt running" something like that

It is worth to try with the version 4.90.392 like matty suggested but keep in mind that Messenger Plus! is meant to work only with Windows Live Messenger’s general public release and not beta's.

Just for your information, that version is (like many other older versions of Messenger) a security risk though. Not to mention the many bugs it has.
If you want t use that version just for its looks, I highly suggest to instead install the latest of Windows Live Messenger 2009 and skin it.
