You'd be surprised how many accounts are just spam accounts when you start reviewing accounts with 0 posts. On some forums far over 50%. I looked at it on MsgForum.nl a while ago and ended up with this:

68,210 accounts, of which 34,684 have less than 1 post and 467 are (perma)banned.

A bunch of spammers accounts were deleted a while ago, the rest is DZ purging unused accounts with 0 posts.

Me thinks another massive prune should be done. Like those who haven't logged in since 2 years and have 0 posts or something.
