You may have stumbled on this page as someone who used to visit the good old Messenger Plus! community forums. You probably also noticed you are not on msghelp.net. The old domain will not bring you to the forum anymore.

So, what happened?
On October 3, 2013, Yuna Software shut down the Messenger Plus! community forums. The forum had little activity in the period leading up to that. But, a small group of users still gathered in the shoutbox daily. To preserve the history of the Messenger Plus! community, and to provide a place for the shoutbox refugees, shoutbox.menthix.net was created.

What about this new place?

• The old forum posts are here as an archive.
  
• You can login with your old msghelp.net credentials and join the shoutbox or post in the open forum section .
  
• Registration for new users is disabled because of spam. If you need a new account, contact me. Bear in mind you are joining a ghost-town, but perhaps you are an old member trying to reconnect with someone and you lost your login information.

You stole the user database? Remove my data!
I hesitated if I should move data over. But understand: Your data is still being taken care of by people who were in the msghelp.net forum team. At no point will others have access to your private data, nor will it be used for commercial interests. Having that said, no problem. See removing your account or posts for more information.

Can I have a copy of my data?
Absolutely! Head over to downloading your own data archive for details.

Good old times
There is a lot of history in the MsgHelp archive. Many of you came back for years. Friendships and relationships were formed. Babies were born. We had to say goodbye to some members who passed away. Over 10 years of posts.

Thanks for the info and for reviving the forum as an archive - I appreciate that. That would have been a lot of history lost.

I only discovered today that msgplus.net did not point to the forums anymore! I was just checking back to see if the likes of cookierevised and other power users were still there.

Thanks for keeping this alive - i spent the last hour or so peaking through old messages and posts and remembering this time in my life. Now a days life is happening so fast and it's nice to be able to look back and reflect on who you were back then. Kinda like an old dusty journal....

This place will always be my internet home and im thankful to see familiar names still around. I often think of the friends i made on this site/chat/shoutbox and feel we are sorta like an old highschool class or something

I was glad to see we could still log in and i could still remember my password I hope everyone is doing well in life!!! <3
