i downloaded clearmsn 6.1.0155
if i'd like to update, do i have to install msn messenger 6.1.0203 first?

second, i am using clearmsn and msn messenger at the same time
but they have different preferences
does clearmsn keep my old preferences in my old clearmsn one?

i think you can set them (ClearMSN and MSN Messenger) different preffences but they reset when you close them i think
if you're talking about the sounds.... they wont get reseted


btw i upload it and everything but i can't seem to download it...

no, they don't reset
i log and encrypt my chats using clearmsn, but i disable msn messenger to log my chats
i also use the costum names for clearmsn, but not for msn messenger

those are the differences of my two messengers

lol i get it now...... those prefferences are Plus! prefferences..... and they depend on the account, not the messenger

you must have 2 accounts, you log on ClearMSN with account 1 and in MSN Messenger with account 2.... but if you did vice versa the accounts will keep their prefferences

so they will not get erased by updating ClearMSN

i'm not sure, i think FuturisticMSN doesn't have the Polygamy Patch on it

but what you can do is open in first place the one with no Polygamy (in this case Futuristic MSN) and then open as many Polygamy Patched Messenger as you like (mine are polygamy patched that's why you can open it more than once )
