Hi i was jsut chatting on msn when ig et signed out and am unable to sign in.

I keep getting the error:

Unable to sign you into .net possibly due toa  problemm with the service or your net connection.
0x81000301

i asked on irc and no1 else seems to have this problem? Does anyone know whats causing this?

Have you tried exiting MSN and re-oppening. If so, have you tried restarting? Problems like this can happen bcz MSN can't connect properly for no apparent reason.

if what blade sayz dont work try this as it worked when i had this problem
uninstal msn messenger
go on windows messenger and it should say upd8 2 l8est version (if u have the l8est version then i cant help sorry)
update it
then reinstall msn messenger

I also get error 0x8100301 AND I know why.

I used Spybot to search my P.C. as I do all the time. Having not realised I had installed SPYWARE with MSN Messenger Plus! 3 (believing the agree statement was a EULA) I removed the spyware from my P.C.

However, if you remove the spyware with an automated tool (Spybot, Adaware etc...) it damages Winsock BEYOND REPAIR.
