O.P. The last new chat time tag is wrong
I'm using

MSN Messenger 6.2.0137
Messenger plus 3.01.94
on Winxp SP1

If I bring up contact information for a contact, the Last New Chat information is almost always wrong. It would say 2 days 2 hours and 20 minutes when I haven't talked to that contact for weeks.

This bug almost always happens to ppl who i haven't talked to for over a week

Contact information reads a chat from the time the convocation window was last closed, even if nothing was said. Are you sure this isn't what you're doing (opening the window not saying anything and then leaving)?
