O.P. Minimize animation
How do you toggle the minimize animation (the bar sliding down the screen) on/off? Mine switched itself off and I would like it back on if possible :)

I know this is rather minor, but thanks for any help people can offer.

No, I meant as in when you click minimize, it shows the top bar going down into the taskbar.

RE: Minimize animation
Start > Control Panel > System > Tab "Advanced" > Frame "Performances" > Button "Properties"

Then you have another screen where you'll see a list of visual effects. Scroll to: "Windowanimations when minimizing/maximizing" and make sure that is ticked... (=4th entry from the bottom)

registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics\MinAnimate
This is a StringKey (REG_SZ), with value 0 (disabled) or 1 (enabled)
