Sorry the subject is'nt a little more discriptive i thought i'd become to long.

So is it true about what i've heard about Plugins?

That if your writing a plugin you can't analyize incoming text unless its a command from a plugin.?

?

You can't act on what the other end writes?... That you cannot make autoresponders based on incomming text?..... is that it?

This is partly true...

you cannot do this using the MSG Plus Api, but it is indeed possible using MSN Messenger Api.... This just needs to be put into your code when your writing a plugin....

It would be great if someone could post a litle sample/source on how to do this in a plugin... I think many ppl would like that...
VB and C++, C# and all the other languages as well.... :D

The only other languages I've heard plugins have been written in are Delphi and ASM.

But yeah, C++ examples would be best

Would'nt it be possible with the Messenger API? Because that other Messenger Client uses it.

And where is the Messenger API anyway?

It is possible to check the text of the conv window with the messenger API when you receive a message ME... (just use .history)

now that is a very ugly way of doing it... why? you won't be able to see emoticons, you won't know when a message is received, you won't be able to modify/parse the data. and if the person suddenly changes nick... well, good luck
