My friend has a cool DP that looks like this 



and all he says when i ask him about it is that its a plug in.. but as far as i know theres no plug in that does that. Can anyone help?

do you want the dp or the size.

If you want the dp get stuff-plug ng and run the ce/dp stealer.

if you wan the size get stuff-plug ng and enable the oversized dp's

No i want one the same size.. so basically i get stuffplug and it'll allow me to get the "strip style" Dp? Does SP have a setting to get the pic like that, or do i have to crop the original pic?

crop the orginal pic to the shape you want it to display as.

sorry, but you will annoy many people with it like that....

Make your DP much much shorter!

The height is too big and _will_ annoy many contacts; they will be forced in using almost maximized conversation windows. You may like it, but not your contact. And if your contact's screenresolution is smaller then yours he will have a very hard time typing something or even finding the place to type something as his conversation window will be resized to fit your DP and thus it will be way off screen.

Thus, I strongly advise you that you think about the consequences before you add something like that. And that you make your DP not higher then, let's say, 300 pixels!

and the width not too wide. it's more irritating than height. just imagine you have a long pic and it takes up 3/4 of the screen lol. the text box on your contact's side will be too small

Well it seems that the width of the pic is alright as its only about 110 pixels but yeh, i'll definately need to shorten it then. Didn't think about the height stretching the screen that much. On the bright side it doesnt erode the message space too much lol Which according to my friend was his "inspiration" to crop his pics like that.
