Plug-ins not an option.

O.P. Plug-ins not an option.
I have downloaded several audio plugins (Simpsons, Monty Python etc), put them in the proper folders and opened the preference option on Messenger Plus. I clicked the box so that I can use them but they aren't listed no matter how many times I have closed and opened msn? I'm probably doing something wrong but for the life of me I can't figure out what. I would appreciate some help. Thank you.

If you mean in the Plus preferences list,I don't have the option to configure the plug-ins and even though I have downloaded them, they don't show up in my plug-in lists.

Also, this is not going to work simply because the plugins are not recognized by Plus! Preferences... so how can it be loaded into the commands.... [Image: newbie.gif]

Welcome to the forum spiderandy12,

From what I can remember this "sound packs" need to use the Audiator Plugin to be able to play the sound. Audiator can be found here.

Now if this is not the case. You need to make sure that you have Administrative access to the registry. What you also may need to do is register the dll files yourself. (Start > run > regsvr "path of file"

Ok, I just downloaded a couple of Sound Packs to see if this happened to me, and I noticed they come in an installer.

Did you use the installer? What extensions did the files have? .exe or .dll?

Also, did you close MSN Messenger entirely before installing the plugins?
