In Internet Explorer click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > uncheck Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart)
Click Apply then ok close and reopen Internet Explorer. That should fix the issue. If not you can try reinstalling IE.
PS wrong forum... should be posted in tech-talk this is Mesenger Plus! Help and Support only, i reported it so the mods will move it, just be aware for next time

Probably spyware/malware/badly written plugin - Commonname toolbar was one of the first to cause this problem. If you disable third party browser extensions you are only hiding the problem, not fixing it, and all other plugins will stop working, even legitimate ones. Reinstalling IE is unlikely to fix the problem. If you have spyware/malware you need to get rid of it. AdAware, Spybot, HijackThis (the latter should be used only with experienced guidance) should be used to search for spyware.

Spyware infects your pc and sends data back to the developer of the spyware through the net. Adware is just extra stuff you might not want e.g. an IE favourite or a desktop icon. Ad-Aware will get rid of most of the stuff which can be found here : http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/.

Spyware will make your computer generally run a little slow, your internet connection may just spike. More information on spyware can be found at Microsoft's spyware centre. Click on that link to look there.
As you can see it monitors what you do on your computer and sends out the results. You can scan your computer for it and adware using this program you can click here to download.
Adware is just programs, and extra things on your computer that generally get in the way. As Carltos said, they can be an added bookmark or link on your desktop, however they are the milder forms. Adware can make popups randomly come up. It's just as the name says ad-ware...it can be noticed by the many ads displaying on your computer, or general icons on your desktop with things like "free casino" ect. It can be detected and removed with this program you can click here to download.

This URL is one of the best explanations of spyware, malware and adware definitions on the net:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spyware
Adware can be very intrusive, and misleading. I've seen some very heavy XXX p*rn advertised, as well as fake spyware removers, and free software that installs even more malware on a machine. Its not very often that adware advertises only the 'nice' end of town.
In terms of good software, Adaware is for beginners and does not clean up a system well; Spybot is good for the more advanced, and HijackThis should be used only with guidance unless you are very experienced.

Bah, those guys are known for ad and spyware...as many of us have said try ad-aware, we've put that solution many times now, so please try that, instead of keeping on asking us for more solutions...

I think you're talking about Messenger Plus, not MSN Plus...that comes with optional adware, but that doesn't cause this problem, you can find solutions to get rid of that sponsor program at;
