O.P. StuffPlug-NG 2 bugs
The ignore feature:
  • When enableing it, none of my contacts can talk to me, even if the ignore list is empty.
AutoTalkers:
  • Crash my MSN.

Variant: When setting an autotalker, reopening the Options panel and then typing something, Messenger crashes too, giving this error:

Talkers:
  • When I type "/xtalk test test how are you etc.....", the talker window pops up and asks me which talker I want to use. Okay but, only the Alternating talker works ?
The others just show the text without changing it.
    • Additional talker errors:
Bambidark "Scripting error occured on line 15; 'Input' ist undefiniert"
Calc "Scripting error occured on line 2; ';' erwartet"

...using Stuffplug-NG 2 on my Windows 98 computer, latest Plus! and latest MSN Messenger 7 Beta.

The first one is easily fixed: open the bambidark.(vbs/js) file in NotePad, and uncapitalise 'Input' on line 15. Save, and that's it.
Calc works for me, so long as the syntax is right.
In fact, they all seem to work.

Yes, sorry my fault.
I didn't include the [talker] part...
/xtalk [talker] Stuffplug-NG 2 roxors

But then there's something wrong with the "Unknown talker" window...when you type /xtalk, the window pops up and you select a talker and write text in the box but it doesn't display it in the convo when you press OK.

Another thing: I'm missing a Cancel button in the Display Picture resizing menu. Would be quite handy

*-) Since previous versions, there is this timestamps issue...

When you have Custom Names enabled for conversation windows and StuffPlug-NG's timestamps, the email is shown, instead of the Custom Name.

I don't know if TB explained or even acknowledged (sp?) this issue. Maybe it has no solution and I'm just bugging. In that case, sorry. :P

After installing SPNG 2, it always opens Windows Messenger, when I log on to Windows. And if MSN and Windows Messenger are both running, SPNG gives errors and disables all functions.

How can you say SPNG2 is causing that if you don't even use/enable the ignore feature? I have it enabled and there's nobody in that list and everything works fine (Win XP Pro).

Asfar as i know SPNG does not call upon the Windows messenger API. I have not disabled (besides not makin it load on startup) Windows Messenger in any way and have no problems at all, in Windows Messenger go to: tools > options > preferences and uncheck "start windows messenger...". If that doesn't work, have a look at Cookie's reply to Windows Messenger Starts Auto When i Start Msg Plus ;)
And yes SPNG disables those features when using Windows Messenger, but it also asks the question if you wanna disable these features in future. If you choose no there all will be as was in MSN Messenger (restart).
