O.P. Sound # on Top 10?
On the sound server home page (http://sounds.msgplus.net) would it be possible so the sounds give you their unique ID?
Because then we can download the sound to our own libraries to send to other contacts if we like it...
(did a search, no results, sorry if afore mentioned )

RE: Sound # on Top 10?
is it possible to add in a new version of plus a feature that some programs use, where for example on the sound page/other sites you can click on a link and it will automatically put it into Plus! for you (of course it would ask you do you want to continue etc )
msgplus:"what ever file name"
have like a protocol that msgplus picks up ?

Ahh yes i see, providing the ID - that would be a very good idea!
Could however the website still give the sound id so
a) we don't have to wait for the next version
b) people with older versions can still do it?

RE: Sound # on Top 10?
what do you think of the idea of making a protocol that when users click links in their internet browser plus recognises it and then can import these sounds directly into your sound library Chris ?

RE: Sound # on Top 10?
- sound:
name: Titatitatitatutu
isi: #65E9AD776959
and
- sound:
name: TiPiTiPaTiTiTuTu
isi: #748b7e520082
are the same
I guess there are hundreds of duplicate sounds in the database...

Yah, I like the idea, some sounds in the list sound quite cool....
But isn't the protocoll thing taking it a bit to far ? I mean, in the end Messenger Plus! is still a MSN Messenger add-on.
