O.P. contact has added you request when already a contact??
I have had a "someone@hotmail.com has added you to their contacts list do u wish to allow ect or block"
the thing is they are already on my contact list have been for ages, how can this happen?? :|

You could have deleted him from your contact list. Then u deleted his name from the block and allow list.

Small bugs like this can be anything from a server problem, to a client problem on your end. Nothing to worry about, if it only happens once, it's not a big problem, but if it keeps going on, I'd uninstall and reinstall MSN Messenger. If that doesn't fix it, the problem may be with the MSN server and it would be wise to e-mail them. Only uninstall & reinstall or e-mail if the problem starts to happen repeatedly.

Doesnt matter if you had them for ages. When someone deletes you it doesnt mean that you delete them.

What it'll be is that, for some reason, the client or server has 'forgotton' that the address is on either the Allow or Block lists. Like Anubis said, if it doesn't happen again, it's cleared itself up.

No, If someone has deleted you from his/her list and re-adds you afterwards you will NOT recieve a message that someone has added you, since he/she is already in your contactlist... that's the exact fluke Joker123 is talking about... ;)
