Hai everybody!

Last week I installed Messenger Plus! 3.54.132 on my MSN Messenger 7.0 (build 7.0.0816)

Now I can't send files to my contacts during a chat. Whatever I try, it fails.
In my opinion it's not a Firewall problem, everything else works in messenger.

Does anyone have the same problem, or have a solution ??

with the new msn messenger 7 they blocked sending files with certain extensions (alot), this was implemented so ppl would not get viruses and worms from im attacks. try the mess patch at www.mess.be or a-patch at www.apatch.tk and you will be able to remove that feature, if u dont wanna do that try sending the file to a .zip and then send that.

StuffPlug-NG also removes the file transfer block thing, and doesn't involve patching Messenger, which is illegal.

well it's against there terms of use which you have to agree on, which i didnt

if not just zip things from now on and tell your contacts to do the same

I was merely pointing out it's illegal, just so people know.

mine does that also... and i cant talk to ppl either
