Thanks quick search .... result -> Uxtheme.dll for win xp sp2
It clearly states ....

'uxtheme.dll' patch for latest Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) to enable 3rd party theme usage without paying for StyleXP.
Thanks :D

I had already applied the theme thru stylexp :P I just needed some software so that i could change my theme / visual style when style xp is gone .... i used uxtheme.dll that lee suggested. I havent rebooted yet but seems good :)
I know this post makes it a double post .... but this is to show that the new dll i put isnt working (mods ... please merge it)
Double post = bump :)
Anyone have a valid win sp 2 compliant version ???
Ill try a different one this time none the less tho should i have uninstalled style xp 1st ??

Yeah it worked. I googled it and read on neowin the following text ...

A: Now hold on there. How do you know it failed? The easiest way to check to see if uxtheme.dll was patched is to simply double-click the msstyles file of a third party theme. If double-clicking loads the display properties dialog with the correct visual style, then the patching process was successful.

Thanks mods for the merge ;)
