I'm seriously hacked off with the message that keeps appearing on my Messenger when opening and closing groups:

"Show the contact in this group  Right click to rename or delete this group"

Every time I hover over, it displays the darn thing.


Anyone able to tell me how to remove it full stop!

To remove them, I'm sure that you'd have to mess around in the registry, I wouldn't really advise this unless you fully understand what you're doing...

You could use resource hacker to take them  2 help bubble messages out ^_^

well if anyone knows how to, i'd appreciate it.  Just need to know which registry key to alter...

U dont need registry editing.. reshacking is easier.
Open reshack, load msnmsgr.exe.
Then go to UIFILE > 936 > 1033.
Search 4:

code:

element[id=atom(listitem)][class="group"]

---

then, replace:

code:

---

tooltip:true;

---

with:

code:

---

tooltip:false;

---

and ur done.
(didn't try this, but I am almost sure it will works)
