An Oklahoma ISP owner has won a $10 million judgment against Robert Soloway and his company Newport Internet Marketing . Soloway is believed to be in the top ten of the world’s greatest spammers. The decision based on the Federal Can Spam Act and Oklahoma law compensates Robert Braver for $25,000/day in damages amounting to a total of $10,075,000. It is highly unlikely that Braver will receive the $10 as Soloway already lost a similar case against Microsoft however if Soloway violates the "Can Spam" injunction, he could now face time in jail for contempt.

obviously it wasnt light spam, he probably spammed it so much he broke their server and all their customers were down, hence the legal action

they must have lost alot of money from his spam in order for them to bother suing them in the first place!
