O.P. C++ compiler with tutorials?
I have tried to learn C++ bit it was too hard to do with VC++ 32005 b so I gave up but I don't want to give up because I have heard that its a real cool language and that you can make some cool game mods with it.

Dose anyone know where I can get a good C++ compiler that comes with tutorials. Because I don't like that MS beta and I want to learn to use a program with a tutorial that teaches you to write the code with C++ in that same program.

If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

I reccomend learning an easier programming language first, before
something like C++.  Try Visual basic first, before you get into
the intense programming.  You can still make some good programs
with it, and that way you can get a good feel of what programming is
like.

Just for the record it is actually quite hard to go from Visual Basic to C++ because of the programming style. I have a real hard time learning C++ because I am so fleuent in VB.
