O.P. Huh?  Integrated Sound Creator ?
Hey there,

I'm quite fond of that new function of Messenger, which allows you to send a sound along with a text, i.e. "/sevillaugh"

Is there any way to create your own ? That would really be awesome.

If there is a plugin, or some kind of genius able to create it, or even just someone who would put me on the way, please tell me, ok ?

Thanks in advance to all, and good messaging experience.

Merry X-Mas

You can use the Custom Emotion Sounds feature of Plus!, with maybe some quicktexts so you have some text to go with the sound.

Well, that's not the same, or I didn't get it...

What I want to do is actually send a "talking" text, not a sound with a text following.

Let's say for example that I send "see you" and the lady I'm talking with hears the sound of a kiss... Got it ? I know this is just a detail, but this is the option I found fun.

Thanks anyway. Anyone else on it ?
Oh well, I hadn't realised I was that unclear, sorry to all !!!

I like the existing integrated sounds, but I'd like to create NEW ONES.

Is that possible ? How ?

Thx again

is anyone going to read his posts properly? custom emoticon sounds will let you send sounds but it will not let you send text at the same time.

I checked already the custom emoticon sounds, thanks, the response is not there. I really think what I'm looking for actually doesn't exist so far.

I know how custom sounds work, I use them all the time. Among them, there are a few ones, already recorded, such as /sevillaugh or /skiss which I like to imitate.

See ? Create text WITH sound INTEGRATED, not send just custom sounds.

Keep telling me, and thanks to all for you efforts.

RE: Integrated Sound Creator ?
The reason why this isn't possible like you wish is because the custom sounds always need to show the text which is currently shown (in order to let the contact and you perform the specific functions of downloading, playing, storing the sound)...

The only thing you can do is to use QuickText to combine the command for a custom sound and a specific text (Note, you can even use the (!P) tag to provide a parameter as text...

QuickText Alias:
    /mytextsound
QuickText Commands:
    Hello there
    #/sound #123456789AB

Now you can use the mytextsound command to both send the sound and text automatically. Or even with a parameter:

QuickText Alias:
    /mytextsound
QuickText Commands:
    (!P)
    #/sound #123456789AB

Now you can use the mytextsound command followed by your text you want to send, like /mytextsound blahblahblah.

All this can be found in the official help pages.

Also see CookieRevised's reply to Link Custom sound to Word???.

------------------

Other than that, the only thing you could try is to use one of the very old sound plugins (but I actually doubt you can send text with them also). But both you and your contact will always need to have those plugins and sounds installed.

;)
