I've had a weird problem happen with my computer recently.

Just in the past few days when I try to play a video file in Media Player ( mind you video files I've played in the past with no problems) no video comes up I get the sound but no video. When I minimize and then restore media player I see the video for a split second and then the video area goes blank again. I've tried playing videos with WinAMP which also yields the same results? Don't recall doing anything at least not consciously that would have caused this. Any help is appreciated.

Is it the same video? and does it happen with any other videos... if it's just the one it could be something to do with the file.

No it's all the videos. All of them do the same thing.

your codecs may not be installed properly, or may have been removed some how

google for the K-Lite Mega Codec pack. it has 99% of the codecs you will need

yeah i had the same problem, just download K-Lite Mega Codec
