Now the sticky threads were at one time revelent and needed however some information is not in demand nor up to date so either has to be edited or deleted in my view.

Sticky threads that I no longer think we need:

Sticky: 'MSN advertisement banner' removal
Sticky: Messenger Plus! SoundPacks (i think mpsounds sorts out that demand)
Sticky: New Virus posing as Live Messenger (the virus did not spread much infact the WMF worm was more frequent)
Sticky: No "how can I sign in MSN 8.0" (useful, but needs updating)
Sticky: Messenger Resources
Sticky: [Important] [UPDATED] New Virus/Botnet Trojan (and if not should be moved to a different forum)
Sticky: How could you do this to me?? (erm i have no idea what it is)

meh, what do you guys think? I think the forum needs a clean up

An update would do .....

But imo the basic message that softwares should only be downloaded from official sites is more important. So i think it should remain

the whole forum needs a cleanout, im sure DZ is doing that anyway more than likely

He is getting mybb 1.02 ready so most of this should be fine when he releases it

Yes I agree the sticky topics need to be checked over to make sure they are all relevent and up to date.

What does getting the forum upgrade have to do with updates/renaming/removing threads?

Nothing, he's just probably spending most of his time working with mybb 1.02, and doesn't have enough time to clear some sticky threads that's all.
