O.P. MSN msgr upgrade
I keep getting the following "Upgrade" alert but when I go to my admin account and click on the prompt nothing happens. Is this the same as an update?

"A newer version of MSN messenger is available.  To upgrade you need to log on as an administer"

Is this legit or is this that virus one that I read about?

I am using version  MSN messenger 7.5.0311
OS  XP Pro

O.P. RE: MSN msgr upgrade
Thank you for the info.

I have one small dilema now.  While in admin account I finally got tired of seeing the prompt so I had choosen the option to wait 7 days before notifying me of upgrade.

Now I no longer get the prompt in admin but still get the prompt in my limited user account.

How do I get the option to upgrade back in admin account without having to wait 7 days? I looked at everything in the menu bar and can't find an update feature.

Take Care
Cel

I don't know how you get the notification back, but i'm sure it's a registry setting. But don't worry about that, you can always download the new version from http://messenger.msn.com
