RE: AoE 3
Read the error.

Your computer processor does not support the advanced instruction set (SSE) required.

Therefore, you need a processor that, well, does.

because 1.4 Ghz is the minimum cpu you need for it to play.

If you buy a game you should always check the system requirements on the back of the box.

There's nothing you can do but waiting till you have a new cpu.

Exactly what does that have to do with it not working on a 1 Ghz?

If you have an AMD Athalon then it is probably a socket A which is easy to upgrade. For example you could buy a faster athalon or a socket A sempron/duron. These processors are not expensive at all, but it's worth checking out compatibility with your board on the manufactorers w/site before buying (if your in the UK then check out http://www.ebuyer.co.uk for some really good amd deals!;))

that i have a similiar proccesor to his, and that it might not be the cpu speed that caused it (thats what i thought before)

1.4 and 1.0 aren't similar just because of the 1 or because they're maybe both from AMD if that is what you're thinking. The one [MR] has appearantly hasn't got SSE-instructions build in and yours does. That's already a big difference between the 2 cpu's.
