O.P. help about ntdll.dll
hi! i was just wondering what this file is for. because when i installed  games in my computer and start to run it an error occured in it.

mind helping me ?

What is the error you received?  And also what is your operating system? ( I presume it's Windows XP SP2)

Yup its xp sp2.

error in ntdll.dll and sometimes in the .exe

ntdll.dll or ntldr.dll (both are very similar in filename)?

Would you be using an AMD processor?

You could try replacing it with a new copy (it might be corrupted). Get one here.

If you could write down the exact error message that you are getting, that would be great. I've tried googling the error message that you reported, but didn't come up with much. I'd also try fishybobbins' suggestion about replacing the dll. Also make sure your copy of windows is 100% upto date!

Also, what kind of CPU do you have? I've read that this is a common problem with AMD CPU's... but it could just be with older revisions.
