From the [Setup] -> Is64Bits section I found this:
"Press OK to check if a compatible version of Messenger Plus! is available."
It's quite easy to understand. Currently, Plus! is programmed for 32 bits processors, which are widely used. But with the arrival of 64 bits processors, Patchou might make a 64-compatible version.
When a 32 bits user tries to install a 64 bits Plus!, the 1st message will appear because there was, is and will always be a 32 bits compatible version of MsgPlus!. When you click OK, it will download directly.
When a 64 bits user tries to install a 32 bits Plus!, the 2nd message will appear because Patchou may not have created a compatible version yet. When you click OK, it will check if so.
Do you understand my crappy explanation a bit?
