Is it possible if someone were to create a petition so that Microsoft would add in the features that we have on Messenger Plus! to be implemented on MSN Messenger (or Windows Live Messenger)??

MSN Messenger is just too crappy...

(I especially want MSN Messenger (or Windows Live Messenger) to have a feature that enables you to have colored display names like in Messenger Plus!........)

It's possible... but I'm sure EVERYBODY here including me will be against it.... Microsoft could put them in if they really wanted to... But it would put Patchou out of work... and there'd be no MsgPlus! anymore....

Oh ._. Well the main reason is because many people don't have  Messenger Plus! and some its features don't work with other people without it...

if i m not wrong then i think patchou is also working with microsoft.. then they may mutually make is enable...

Shezi, you're wrong.

Patchou isn't working along side Microsoft, but they're very close in the projects, as in Patchou speaks to them a lot about his progress (afaik), but nothing that he does is approved by Microsoft or anything.

If the functions of MsgPlus are included in MSN, all the community will be closed. And anyway, MsgPlus is an separate program that brings work to Patchou, so Patchou wouldn't like to be out of work

Microsoft understands how Plus! relates to Messenger, and won't make moves against Plus! anytime soon: it gets them too many users. Anyway, the Messenger team already has plenty to do: the last thing they need is to add so many features they can't do them all correctly. Messenger is buggy enough already

Microsoft MAY add some features, as Patchou adds more features. This is actually a good thing, as Microsoft can alter it slightly to provide better results (if you complain they arent good enought). 1 thing Microsoft should never add is Boss Protection, as Bosses might ban WLM altogether.
