Me and Stigmata have to make a slideshow for the leavers mass next week... we're supposed to refrain from using Powerpoint or anything cheesy, we just want something that will display the pictures (in whatever order) with music in the background...

I don't care if the software is free or not!

If it is able to export the file as a mpg, avi, swf or wmv then that would be great .

windows movie maker, very great for that kind of work, or camtasia, basically any movie maker

I was trying to stay away from that though because it is very slow and really buggy... Keeps randomly crashing etc.

I had to do something similar on the weekend for a wedding reception; I just used Pinnacle Studio.

camtasia, pretty sure you can export the movies as flash, and why does it keep crashing?? thats not what movie maker "normally" does k maybe thats a lie
