Hello,

Since 2 day's i've got some trouble's with windows live messenger, I keep getting this error after logging in:
Because of connection problems changes made will not be added if you login on an other computer.
(try'd to translate it from dutch to english^)

See screenshot too!!(it's in dutch but you can see what i mean)


Sometimes Windows live says I've only got 7 people in my list! Sometimes even 0!!

When i un-install windows live messenger and install msn messenger 7.5 everything seems to work again...

Who knows the solution for this VERY strange problem?

Does it work without Messenger Plus! Live?

This has been noted by other forum members, there seems to be problems with the messenger servers for some reason.  It also seems to be making slow signins and when you delete your contact list off your computer it sometimes doesn't download it all.  Just give it some time, I'm sure the messenger people are already on the job.

it's definitely not a Messenger Plus problem as my brother and sister can both sign in to the latest WLM with the latest Plus Live with no problems

i think it's to do with people who opted into the yahoo beta......cos i tried signing in on the family computer and it kept saying i needed to upgrade WLM to continue, yet when my brother and sister signed in it didn't say that.

if i sign in on Windows Messenger (the really old style one) then all my contacts, etc are still there......if you're worried about losing them then sign in on that and save your contact list (which is what i've done)

i'm sure that microsoft will sort the problem out eventually

it doesn't work on mine neither!

like yours it doesn't show any contacts when i sign in and it takes ages..

if anyone have the solution plz email not.copied [@] hotmail.com

If I was you, I would just wait, they will be added soon enough. Or just export your contacts incase anything happens.

MSNP14 is only enabled in build 792, hence why it shouldn't have been set loose when it was.

If your contacts are there in another client, then they're there in WLM: it's just WLM fails to cache them properly.

I am not worried to lose my contact's, i already exportet my contactlist so that isn't a problem...

I just want it fixed
