O.P. Huh?  How to capture a screensaver into a movie file?
Is there any software that will create an AVI out of a screensaver? I know FRAPS does this for games, but it won't work for screensavers. Thanks

hey,

Not sure if this is what you are after but why don't you try a simple screencapture program and leave it recording the screen untill your screensaver goes on then simply editing the file?

Hope this helps

Pete

EDIT:  http://www.turbodemo.com/eng/index.htm

This will let you do this and also playback in AVI

Hi Ptoye, that application you suggest is similar to Camtasia Studio, it won't work for screensavers. Thanks anyways.

Well sorry about that. Why not as a last resort just simply use a webcam to record your screen? Not the best idear i know but it seems to be the only!

Hope this helps
