O.P. Are These Real? MS Pro Duo
http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/FAKE-Sony-Memory-Stick-Pro-Duo-MagicGate-Cards-Exposed...

is an ebay guide, it shows 4gb sticks should have seals in all the places with arrows...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200063196425...

does that mean this is a fake?

arghhh so tempting

Nevermind, I get it now.

My 4gb does have seal all around the place. I'll take a pic to show you.

RE: Are These Real? MS Pro Duo
Though the picture may not be a picture from what he is actually selling...
And this seems the case actually since the picture is always the same:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/China-mp3-factory_memory...1392QQftidZ2QQtZkm

and
quote:
Genuine normal-speed card (without red-stripe) has 9 vertical staple heat seals on each side of the pack while fake only has 3 dot seals on each side. Genuine also has additional 6 horizontal staple seals across the top of the packaging not found on the fake. This applies to both 1GB/2GB/4GB retail packaging product.
In the picture I see only 3 on each side.

He has +800 pos reps though, and only a handfull negs... although, personally, I only buy from people who have only pos reps / or maybe one or two negs but with a good explaination.

If a deal is too good to be true, it is fake...

And after reading that page about all the fakes circulating around, I wouldn't touch/trust it...

RE: Are These Real? MS Pro Duo
well i have a fake 2GB pro duo and although it has this 'fake' tag applied to it it's never not worked or fit in my psp etc

the fake memory sticks do not have magicgate on them (big whoop hey)

they hold more and transfer faster though so i don't think you can lose
