If I may give you a piece of advice: read the thread before posting. The servers do not allow too frequent updates of you nickname and psm, and even if they would, nobody will actually keep watching your psm to see what you're listening.

Why can't the language (translation in About section) be translated?

And oh, what are the requirements to use some other webpage for lyrics?

Typo. ¬¬

Some knowledge of JScript, a search on the webpage, and permission from the author.

The "Save" button doesn't save the lyrics in the ID3 tags; the lyrics are saved in a special subfolder within the NowPlaying script folder, so that it can be retrieved quickly and displayed in the lyrics window.

Foobar2k Support (w/out the winamp emulator plugin.., I feel that the COM plugin works better than the winamp one)

1. Install this - http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=39946&st=0

2. Create a file called fb2k.player.js and put it in the now playing's player folder in the script directory (Default: C:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! Live\Scripts\Now Playing\players).

Input the data found here: http://www.ampaste.net/9037

And you should be ready.

Note: No support, the sendsong feature doesn't work for some reason. But at least it does what it is supposed to. Also, this assumes that FB2K is always open as long as Messenger is (i cannot use the interop.call to check if it's open for some reason..it's due to the GUID thing I guess)

Great script -dt-

Would it be possible to turn off the PSM and/or DP functionality via a command in the WLM conversation window? This would mean that the currently playing media information will not be shown in the PSM or the album art as your Display Picture, but your contacts will still be able to see your media information by typing !np etc.

seriously locks up messenger on Vista x64 :@

I use itunes 7.1.1, Latest Msgplus Beta, Latest Messenger Version

Enabling album art DP's completely f**ks it also
Infact enabling or doing anything f**ks it

PSM rename freezes messenger for ages
Send itunes song freezes messenger etc etc ¬_¬

no genre tag either :O~

Just tested with WMP and it works fine, the problem seems to be with itunes or how you parse the information from it,

Just a side note though it only works with the 32bit version of WMP :P

I love this script! Started using it early this year.
Though I'd appreciate one add-on to it; XMPlay support. That little music player is my favorite and when I play music with it, MSN doesn't display any of the extra tags this script offers except basic ones like title and artist.

I'd be very glad if you could add XMPlay to the list of supported players. :)
