The Messenger Plus! menus look greyed out as show in this screenshot:



They never used to look greyed out and uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't seem to correct it. Oddly though, I can still click the menu entries and they work anyway. Any ideas?

I don't see anything wrong with it..? It doesn't let you click them?

It does still let me click them, as I mentioned. I'm starting to think maybe that's just how the menu has always looked. But I'm talking about the text being #3C3C3C in color rather than #000 (pure black) like some other WL! menus are.

They aren't greyed out, have a look at this picture and you will see (i even have your picture in the background).



EIDT:  I do realise I'm using a different them and hence the colour is more grey in mine, but it shows the contrast that is usually there.

The Plus! menus (from the buttons, the right click menus on tabs, etc) are all themed to fit with the Plus! interface style. They do have a slightly lighter color than standard menus. However, they shouldn't be confused with the disabled state very easily:
