Hi all,

after the 'forced' upgrade t 8.1, i tried to play a little with the feature that allows you to use the same psm and display wherever you go.

I have a desktop and a laptop, the moment I sign in from the laptop, the SAME display and psm appear as inputed from the laptop, it does not update what was inputed from desktop, ie, if i change anything on my desktop, its doesn't update on my laptop and vice versa!

Am I missing something here regarding this feature?

Yes you might be.

Make sure you have enabled, "Use the same display picture and personal message wherever I sign in," located in Tools > Options > General

its enabled on both machines.

When your on your desktop and you change your display picture, do you Sign Out correctly? Then you sign in on your laptop.

Sometimes when you don't actually click on 'Sign Out', it can cause problems.

I exit normally, or sometimes just sign in from my laptop directly, triggering the 'signed from another computer' alert.
