O.P. Gaming website logo
Hey..
My friend wants me to make a logo for his website; this is all I've come up with so far:
..Which is very basic. Tried looking at some other logos to inspire me but still unsure what to do.
Anyone got any ideas?

RE: Gaming website logo
Imo, it really depends on the types of games that your friend's site has to offer. If it's primarily violent shooting games, the 1st one isn't quite appropriate. If it's puzzle-dominant, then the 2nd one isn't appropriate. Moreover, it depends on the site design too...

true
some more information on the type of website would be nice.
overall i like the second one much better than the first. imo the first one looks abit bland...
You have the intellect comparable to that of a rock. Be proud.

Exactly. The typeface is also very important, regarding the site design, for example, you wouldn't have Curlz MT on a Halo 3 fansite (Because that would be weird). I've whipped up a quick design myself, and the outcome (minus text) I quite like. It's probably not to your tastes, nor indeed your friend's, but I think it looks kind of professional anyway

RE: Gaming website logo
2nd one is pretty decent for a simple logo and could work well on a simple site. But in reality no one can make any sort of decision nor come up with their own unless we have some sort of idea what the site looks like.

Hmm, well it's just general 3D game making he does.
The website design is going to change so can't really suggest anything specific.
Thanks for trying ryxdp.

I'd stay stick with the 2nd one if you don't know what the website looks like. It's quite cool, and simple.

RE: Gaming website logo
I personally think that the second one is best. But just like Nagamasa told you, it depends on what kind of games are you putting and the design of the rest of the web site.
