I have a problem with my contact list, little symbols like this "♥" appear in my name at the top where i can click to change my status, but on my contact list its just comes up as a little box. is there anything i need to do to  make it work as i jsut got them to work in my internet explorer and firefox.

I believe thats to do with the encoding of your weird characters (i dont know the actual name of them ). If certain characters are not supported by the font that your WLM uses, it will appear as a little box or a "&#9829" or something similar.

Correct me if im wrong ;o

You mean unicode characters. =P

well the thing is everyone uses them and when im at my girlfriends house i can see the actual symbol, its weird i hae tried everything i even went out and got the new microsoft office to see if it would update fonts and it did so now i can see these little symbols on the internet but just not in the contact box, any ideas on how to get this to work

P.S that symbol is meant to be a little love heart lol, it also does it with stars, i can actually see them as they are ment to be where i can change my status, but in the actuall contact list they just come upo as a little box.
