after an extensive search, i still cannot find out how to change the color of the font that i am entering into the text field to be sent to the person im speaking to.  it is black, while i wish it to be white.

i am unable to see it very clearly and would like to change it.  thanks in advance.

oh, i am also using phunk'n infusco if that helps.  nice skin btw 

If you change it to white, then your contact more than likely won't be able to see it, as most people have light backgrounds.

If you are struggling reading it due to a dark background then try changing it to a more neutral colour, like red, or green that will show up on both light and dark backgrounds

okay i can understand this, however, i still dont know how to change it.  where is the option?

On Windows Live Messenger click Tools>Options>Messages

And you will see a "Change Font" button at the top right

neither of these change the color, it remains the same.

I don't know what else to suggest. Can you post a screenshot?
