O.P. Shocked  [REQUEST] Flashing keyboard when recieving message
Hey. I know there's already a keyflash script, making LED's flash when recieving a message.
But I'm wondering if someone could make a script, making it possible for my computer to "do the wave"
I have a laptop (Compaq 6510b) and it has got 8 LED's on it, And I was hoping for someone to make a script making it start from the left to right, to left again.
Sadly, I don't know anything about scripting, so I can't really get the code for the different LED's, unless there's a way to check it in the computer?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

LED's from left to right <->

HP Info Central, Wireless Internet connection, Third one..I don't really know, It's not working.., Caps lock, Num lock, Mute, Volume down, Volume up.

Kindly regards
Someone

I would have thought you can only make CapsLock, NumLock and ScrollLock flash, since the others are related to the hardware (well, except the volume - surely they don't need LEDs)...

The only way to activate Caps, Num and Scroll lock is to simulate a keypress. Only limitation of this is that it can interfere with your typing.

If you can settle without the wavy things and just scroll, num and caps lock keys... heres JUST the one you need:

I reccomend that you only let the scroll lock key flash though, otherwise it gets really nasty when typing ;)

Also when the interval is too low it doesnt work, 120ms seems the cap for my keyboard

Well on my computer they have LED's
But that doesn't mean they can be controlled easily by software though.

Only the capslock, numlock and scrollock leds can be directly controlled/simulated. All the other leds on a computer depend directly on hardware drivers and other electronics and can't be controlled directly by software in normal ways.
.-= A 'frrrrrrrituurrr' for Wacky =-.
