O.P. Idea for a new feature
This is one thing I would LOVE for Msgplus to have. It should have alerts (like when people sign in etc.) when people open and close your convo window and when someone deletes you off their list. (and include all this in the event manager). This is one thing I love about the Messenger Discovery program, that it does that. Anyone else think that this is a good idea?

RE: Idea for a new feature
There are already a massive amount of threads about this.

No, this will not be added to Plus! as this will involve protocol manipulation. And up until now, Patchou didn't want to include anything that uses the protocol for some good reasons.

There are already some plugins and addons which implemented these features in the past (as you can find by searching the forums).

But, due some protocol changes since the MSN Messenger 7 series, the functions you ask for are not possible anymore. That is, it is not 100% reliable anymore without interpreting and understanding the alerts (one more reason this will not be added to Plus! directly) as you can also find in many threads by searching the forums...

Nevertheless, Stuffplug (a popular plugin for Plus!) will again inlcude some of these functions in its new worked upon version, although they will still not be 100% reliable...
