yes you can, if you create a limited passport account with the address

edit: I suppose by messenger address you mean @live or @hotmail address...

Sorry, it seemed to make more sense in my head than it did written down. What i meant was, an address that is given to you e.g your ISP, you will not be able to sign in onto messenger with a non-related e-mail account. Did that make more sense?
