O.P. help! cant install my new plugin

i attempted making a plugin for plus in vb6,
just using MPPluginVB.vbp.
i'm relatively sure it _should_ work, but i cant get it to install, even with a modified version of the included install.reg file, as well as using
"Plugin installer maker version 0.2beta by DJMystic"

help on the subject would be greatly appreciated.
