An Oklahoma ISP owner has won a $10 million judgment against Robert Soloway and his company Newport Internet Marketing . Soloway is believed to be in the top ten of the world’s greatest spammers. The decision based on the Federal Can Spam Act and Oklahoma law compensates Robert Braver for $25,000/day in damages amounting to a total of $10,075,000. It is highly unlikely that Braver will receive the $10 as Soloway already lost a similar case against Microsoft however if Soloway violates the "Can Spam" injunction, he could now face time in jail for contempt.
