In this picture if user wants to subcscribe to a thread he can check the box and then click any link on the forum. Since he checked it, it will automatically subscribe him to that thread by going any other page on the forum without the need of refreshing the thread. But if user plans to close the browser just after the subscription, then let him still be able to click on Subscribe or Unsubscribe or the other favorite thread link. I think this would give users much easeness because when I want to subscribe a thread, it take sometime to refresh the page.
