O.P. Then and now... 10 years later
Firstly, saying goodbye is never easy. It is especially harder when you've spent a decade of your life supporting a cause that you believe in. I joined the forums yesterday 2002 when I came across an issue with the !WAP tag and it not sending the full song instead only what was scrolled in the title bar. Back then things were different; the community was thriving. I easily found myself spending hours conversing with people and trying to support them the best I could with what I knew.
Fast forward a few years and I became good friends with Cyril, becoming a tester, an elite member... which he ended up deleting my entire account and WDZ had to restore my user from a backup of the database. I've met a lot of great people whom I'd consider staying in touch with indefinitely but as the old saying goes all good things must come to an end and for me that is now.
I want to wish Yuna all the best although I don't have high hopes for the product as people are moving away from IM and moving to social networking. I mean even Facebook has a video plugin now.
I know this is short and sweet but I have some food on the barbeque.
