Hello RaNa,

Of course you are free to download Messenger 2009 after having uninstalled Windows Live Essentials 2011 in the Control Panel. Just download and run the following file:

http://tinyurl.com/wave3en.

However, a version of Messenger Plus! that works with Messenger 2011 is already in preparation.
