You start from the script/plugin button in either main screen (contactlist) or from the script/plugin button in the conversation window.

The button you clicked in Plus! Preferences is meant for the developer to edit the script itself. You should never alter anything there unless you know what you are doing, you can completely bugger up the script if you change stuff in it!
