Make sure you close all your internet explorer windows and search the window where you have to type the code in your desktop. It's there (you can use Alt + Tab to change between windows).
If not, maybe the sponsor uninstall is corrupted. Try to install Plus WITH the sponsor, and then uninstall it
The sponsor will be gone
