I believe you; however, as most people coming to us are mainly interested in getting rid of LOP while retaining the main MsgPlus application, we usually just help them do that, which is not a prob if you know how to go about it.
If you're right, your suggestion of uninstalling and then re-installing
sans the sponsor program would arguably be the easier way of achieving that result...
